IMAT Coaching for Indian Students
The IMAT decides who gets a seat. It is not a syllabus test you can revise your way through the week before — the logical reasoning section alone is unlike anything in CBSE, ICSE or a state board, and it is where most Indian candidates lose the marks that would have placed them.
Our coaching is built around that gap: the science you mostly know, taught to the Italian syllabus; the reasoning you do not, taught from scratch; and enough timed practice that exam day is familiar.
The coaching programme
Diagnostic first, then syllabus, then timed practice against real past papers.
Mock Tests
Full-length papers under exam timing, with sectional breakdown so you know where marks are leaking.

- Reading comprehension and general knowledge — dense passages under time pressure, plus general-culture questions that reward wide reading rather than cramming.
- Logical reasoning — the section that separates candidates. Pattern, deduction and problem questions with no Indian-syllabus equivalent.
- Biology — the largest science block, broadly familiar but with terminology and emphasis that differ from NEET.
- Chemistry — foundational, with less depth than NEET but a different question style.
- Physics and mathematics — comparatively light, and often where well-prepared Indian students bank easy marks.
Marking carries a penalty for wrong answers, so guessing strategy is a genuine skill and needs to be practised rather than improvised on the day.
A realistic preparation timeline
Six months is the practical floor; twelve is comfortable. A sensible shape is three months building science to the Italian syllabus while starting reasoning early, two months of heavy timed practice, and a final month of full mocks and error review.
The single most common mistake is leaving logical reasoning until last because it feels unteachable. It is teachable — it just needs volume and spacing, which means starting it in week one, not week twenty.
Sitting the exam in Delhi
India has only two IMAT test centres — New Delhi and Chennai — and places at each are limited and allocated during the registration window. Register late and your preferred centre may already be full. For most candidates that makes exam day a logistics problem as well as an academic one: travel, accommodation the night before, documents, and reporting time. Our Delhi office at Dwarka Sector-20 runs briefings for candidates travelling in, and we help with the practical arrangements alongside the preparation itself. Centres and venues are confirmed annually, so check the official registration portal for the current year.
