Before You Go
- NEET-UG is mandatory — no exemptions for any country
- 50% PCB in Class 12 (Gen), 45% (Reserved)
- University must be in WHO WDOMS — all 4 Hungarian universities qualify
- Programme must be English medium — all Hungarian MD tracks qualify
During Studies
- Minimum 54 months study + 12 months internship (Hungary's 6-year structure satisfies this)
- Must complete study AND internship at SAME Hungarian university
- No transfer to another university allowed after Year 1
- Annual Hungarian residence permit renewal required
On Return to India
- Must clear NExT (National Exit Test — replaced FMGE from 2024)
- 12-month supervised internship in India after NExT clearance
- Registration with State Medical Council
- AIU degree equivalence certificate
