We are looking for a passionate and driven International Student Counsellor to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about guiding students and are confident in communication, presentations, and student engagement.
What You’ll Do
As an International Student Counsellor, you will act as a trusted advisor to students and parents, helping them navigate their study abroad journey with clarity and confidence. Your responsibilities include:
Student Counseling: Provide guidance on study-abroad opportunities, admissions, scholarships, and visa processes.
Personalised Guidance: Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions to understand student goals and suggest suitable pathways.
Course & University Selection: Recommend programs and institutions based on student profiles and preferences.
Application & Documentation: Assist students through the complete application process, including SOP/LOR guidance and visa documentation.
Student & Parent Interaction: Handle queries professionally and build strong relationships with students and families.
Seminars & Presentations: Participate in and conduct seminars, webinars, and workshops. Candidates should be camera-friendly and comfortable speaking in front of an audience.
Content Contribution: Support in basic content creation or communication for student engagement (optional but preferred).
What You Bring
1–3+ years of experience as an International Student Counsellor or in a similar role.
Basic to good knowledge of international universities, admissions, and visa processes.
Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written).
Confidence in speaking on camera and participating in seminars, webinars, and presentations.
Ability to guide students with empathy, clarity, and professionalism.
Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
A proactive attitude with willingness to learn and grow.
