We are seeking a Senior International Student Counsellor to bring experience, leadership, and vision to our team. You will guide students with confidence while mentoring the next generation of counsellors.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior International Student Counsellor, you will lead with expertise, acting as both a trusted advisor for students and a knowledge resource for the team. Your responsibilities include:

• Student Counseling: Deliver expert advice on study-abroad opportunities, admissions, scholarships, and visa requirements.
• Personalised Guidance: Conduct detailed one-on-one sessions to align students’ academic strengths and career goals with the right international opportunities.
• Course & University Selection: Recommend suitable programs and institutions worldwide based on comprehensive student profiles.
• Application & Documentation: Manage the full application cycle, from SOP/LOR guidance to visa filing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Market Expertise: Stay current with international education systems, university requirements, and immigration policies.
• Parental & Student Engagement: Handle queries with professionalism and empathy, building long-term trust.
• Team Leadership: Mentor junior counsellors, support training, and contribute to building a strong, knowledge-driven team.
• Institutional Networking: Develop and strengthen relationships with global universities, partners, and education bodies.
• Event Leadership: Represent KALINGAEURO at workshops, webinars, and education fairs, showcasing thought leadership.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of proven experience as an International Student Counsellor or in a similar advisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of international admissions, universities, scholarships, and visa processes.
• Strong English communication skills (spoken and written).
• A proven ability to guide students and parents with empathy and professionalism.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Confidence in leading presentations, seminars, and webinars.
• A proactive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.
